FitBits
Are they good for you or just a way we can prove that we moved during the day? I don’t know the correct answer, but since I have had one, I like to keep track of the steps I have taken. I feel defeated when I don’t make the measly 5,000 steps I have set for myself. On the other end, I’m elated when I have gone above and beyond my goal.
There are so many types of FitBits out there on the market that it makes it hard to choose from. Luckily, I didn’t have to go through that process. One was just given to me as a gift. Thanks again Honey!

The Fitbit company, whoever that is, comes out with new stuff all the time, I couldn’t find the one I have anymore. I have the Fitbit Flex 2 .

It’s small with no screen. I have to look on my phone app for all the info. Which works for me because I can’t really read the small writing on the screen
So, why Fitbit? The company states:
“On the walk to work, at the weight room or in the last mile.
Somewhere between first tries and finish lines. Pillow fights and pushing limits. That’s where you find fitness.
Every moment matters and every bit makes a big impact. Because fitness is the sum of your life. That’s the idea Fitbit was built on—that fitness is not just about gym time.s, but all the time.
How you spend your day determines when you reach your goals. And seeing your progress helps you see what’s possible.
Seek it, crave it, live it.”
My reason for why a Fitbit ( or any other step tracker on the market )?
It’s simple. You either like it or you don’t.
If you don’t feel like you need to track your exercise and like to just feel good that you were very active during the day, then a step tracker is not for you.
On the other, if you are anything like me, you need something to motivates you to get off you ass and move to reach your goals, then you should invest in something like a Fitbit or a Fitbit itself.
I know that when I reach my little goal of 5,000 steps, and my tracker vibrates on my wrist, with lights going off on it, I do a HAPPY dance! (which also counts for steps, just so you know)
So tell me, do you have a Fitbit or something like it? Do you like it, and for what reason? Let me know in the comments below. I would like to hear what think.
