Losing Loved Ones

It’s not easy losing loved ones. Not at all. And yet it is widespread in people’s life. Whether people lived a long, fulfilled life or died way too early, it’s always hard living life on this earth without them.

A couple of weeks ago, someone very dear to me passed away. And although, with specific circumstances, we haven’t been super close in the last few years, I know she will always hold a place in my heart.

She was a strong and beautiful woman. She had an amazing love for her family and friends. I have been so blessed to have known her and feel lucky that my boys called her Oma because she was an excellent Oma, full of love and kindness.

She, among many others that are gone and have been a big part of my life, will be truly missed. But I know she is in a better place, and for that reason, I can smile.
