I’m Back and Ready to Write!

If you haven’t noticed, I have been on a bit of a break. My “juices haven’t been flowing” very well, as some people say. I’ll start writing something and then I just stop because….well, just because. But not to worry, I’m back and ready to write!

And this is sort of the story of my life. I love starting something new, and diving right in, head first with all good intentions to see it through. I’ll buy everything I need to start whatever it is that I think will be the greatest thing ever, but I never finish. Or I will quit before I have seen it through.

For example

For Christmas this past year, I bought myself a Ukulele. Over the next month, I got myself a beginner’s guide with very simple songs to play, a tuner, some strumming picks. and something else they (whoever they are) told me I to get. Some sort of clamp thing that goes on the stings.

I was going to teach myself to play. With the help of YouTube videos, this was going to be easy. And I didn’t want to start with the simple song like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. No that’s for little kids. I wanted to learn something awesome. Super awesome, that would blow people away! So, I choose this song…

BIG MISTAKE!

I was so discouraged. It was way too hard. I couldn’t even get through the first two or three strums. So, I gave up and haven’t really touched it since. I thought, ” I should just stick with piano, at least I know the basics….”

Anyway, The same thing started with this Blog and Website thing. It’s sometimes too hard, so really, I don’t feel like working on it. But, that’s going to change. I’m going to work hard at it. I love to write and I want to do it and be good at it. 

I am so thankful for all the readers that have waited for me. I’m back and ready to write. And please leave comments on my website. It makes me feel good that people actually read this. It’s very encouraging!
