Before “Last Minute” Christmas Shopping – Tween Boys

Christmas is right the corner. The smart people already have started or even finished, but if you are like me I’ve just started thinking about it. And although I don’t have a ton of gifts to buy, I don’t want to leave it till Christmas eve (aka. last minute).

I thought I would make some gift lists ideas that would help some of you out. And if not any of you, then for me especially.

Now, I have 2 boys that are nine and eleven. Shopping for them can be difficult the older they get. And more expensive, to say the least.

These gifts are in no particular order. They are just some of the gifts I think are pretty cool.

Older tweens will love this cool building kit! You can build ten models of catapults and crossbows. It will also be a great tool for teaching physics, including lessons in force, energy, motion, and projectiles. The 32-page, full-color manual has illustrated step-by-step instructions.

Ravensburger -The Earth 3D Puzzle (540 pc)

This 3D puzzle has 540 pieces to challenge your tween. No glue is required! This set includes a stand to rotate your puzzle. The puzzle pieces are numbered on the back if you choose to put it together that way or it can be put together by just looking at the image.

Well, I only did 10, but I could go on and on. The possibilities are endless. I just added things to give you some ideas and I thought were really good gifts. I know that some of these will be under my tree this year for the boys. Although, my 11-year-old only says he wants clothes and that might be the easiest.

What are some of your gift ideas? What are you going to get you not so little “angels”? I’m open to more ideas!!
