Easter Meal Ideas

With Easter coming up, I thought I would post some recipes that I thought looked SO GOOD! Even though I know this Easter will be a bit different with this crazy pandemic that has turned our world upside down. We just have to make the most of what we can do.
I am going to be going to a drive-in church service Sunday morning, which will be pretty amazing. Then I plan on going home with my boyfriend and sons to have an Easter dinner. I hope to do an Easter egg hunt ( it’s an easter tradition that my parents started ), with my boys, even though they are 9 and 11.
And since I am planning on doing a small dinner, I was looking up some yummy ideas to serve. I will definitely not do all of them but give one or two a try. I put a few recipes in each category. Try some and then we can give some comments on whether they were good or not! So fun!
Drinks
It is always nice to have a fun drink or punch to enjoy while your dinner is cooking. I put some that are alcoholic and non-alcoholic. That way there is a choice for everyone.
Alcoholic

Non-Alcoholic
Homemade Raspberry Peach Lemonade

Appy’s
It’s always nice to have a little snack while waiting for dinner to be ready. Even having dinner with only appetizers is a great idea, especially for smaller crowds. And they are a pleasure to make (and to eat)!

Salads
You can’t have a big dinner without a great salad to go with it!

Strawberry, Kiwi, and Spinach Salad

Layered Deviled Egg Pasta Salad

Spring Greens Caesar Salad with Pickled Shallot

Soups
A yummy, hot soup is so nice to eat on a cold day.

Bread
What is better than having a warm slice of bread or bun to go with that savory soup? And honestly, I love bread, maybe too much!

Main Dishes
Instead of the traditional Easter Turkey, maybe try something different this time. Here are a few ideas…

Roast Pork Loin with Herb Stuffing

Sides
You always need to have a side dish or two for your dinner, or else it wouldn’t be a complete meal, right? And you need to eat your vegetables!
Scalloped Hasselback Potatoes With Cheddar

Salt-and-Pepper Charred Green Beans

Desserts
To top it all off, you need dessert. No questions asked!

So that’s it! I hope to hear from you if you used any of these wonderful recipes. I’m going to try most of them over time, so keep on reading my posts for updates. Wishing you all a very blessed Easter with your quarantined family!
Lots of Love,

I will also try some of these, Sarah- I think maybe the pork loin roast and roasted Brussels sprouts for Easter and the carrot soup when I have enough carrots! Thanks for the ideas❤️
Your Welcome! I think I’m going the potatoes. and the cookies, of course!
