Happy Friday!

Blog – The Rocky Roads of Life

Written on November 2, 2018

It’s Friday, and there is snow.

And lots of it.

I shoveled at around 2 pm.

It didn’t look like the snow was going to stop at any time.

And it hasn’t stopped.

It’s very lightly snowing. but the snow is very heavy.

I stopped several times to take a short break.

While I was working away, nearly falling a couple of times, my neighbor took out his snowblower.

Thinking maybe he would see me struggling he would help me out.

Wishful thinking!

He would not even make eye contact with me.

Arg!

He did his walks. packed up and went inside his home.

I was only halfway done.

Fine! Be that way!

And, no, this was not my cousin’s house on the right side of me.

The other side.

If it had been my cousin, I would have thrown a snowball at him.

By the way, It is awesome snow to make serious snowballs.

I would’ve had a snowball fight, but that is sort of not fun by yourself.

I was supposed to post pictures of my boy’s costumes yesterday, but I forgot! Oops!

Anyway, here they are!

t was crazy make-up to do, but I must say it turned out pretty good!

They also said that they got two pillowcases full of candy.

Good thing they left it all at their Dad’s.

I have no will power when it comes to mini chocolate bars and candy.

Anyway, I’ll stop here.

I hope to write tomorrow.

Have a great Friday night!

And Happy Shovelling!

Love,
