Where have you been….?

The answer to that question is, nowhere. I have just taken some time off, I guess. Things have just been so busy. Well, busy for me at least.
I moved!
So having to pack up everything, and then moving and setting up in a new home takes its time.
But the house is beautiful. It’s above ground, it has large windows, and has a beautiful front deck. The boys love having their own beds, and not sleeping in the squeaky bunk bed. And I have a small room and a smaller bed but love the huge patio doors in it. Most people wouldn’t enjoy that, but I am all for big windows.
With being in the upstairs suite, there are more responsibilities. Which my dad has told me on several occasions. One of the main ones being having to mowing the lawn. And mowing the lawn I did. And probably not so great. Today I tried to mow it but was unable to see clearly due to my eyesight. My darn bad eyes! They get me every time…
So I started in the front and all was going well until I tripped over the cord. Not to worry it wasn’t when I was mowing the lawn, it was when I was trying to wrap up the cord. And I fell on the grass, not on the sidewalk which could’ve done some bad damage. Then I started weed eating the back or thought I was. Because I can’t see well, it wasn’t until I stopped and looked at it, that I realized it was not cutting anything. It needed more string. (Or whatever you call it. That plastic string that sticks out the bottom of the weed eater… That’s what I’m talking about)
Anyway, I took out the mower and started to cut the lawn. I was doing a pretty good job until I realized I was going over the same piece of lawn numerous times. Back-and-forth back-and-forth. This was going to take a while! So I tried. I wrapped up the cord without falling again, luckily, Then put the mower away and close the garage door. That was going to have to do!
So please don’t laugh or comment if you drive by my house, or come for a visit. I am just learning. I did what I could to the best of my ability.
Better luck next time
